Our place is a part-time farming with organic beef cattle. The cows are grazing at the field from the beginning of May to the end of fall. In the winter, they are feeding in the stable 100 m. from the habitation. The calfs are being born from March to the middle of summer, so you will probably see small calfs playing on the field.
We usually increase the livestock during the spring with a few others animals, so the kids have someone to feed in the summer period. We have had some ducks, goose and last year we had 2 pigs to feed. This year we will try with pigs again, and if Denmark can avoid the bird flu, we will make a fence for some chickens.
Our neighbour have horses and sheeps, so there will always be something to watch, if you decide to go surrounding.
