Bostonterrier puppies

We have mated our bostonterrier Spirgaardens Rosa with Aladin on Time

Rosa met Aladin and 2 min after they were hanging together So we think it was the right day

We are looking forward to the puppies who will hopeflly be born in week 9 2010!

Boxerpuppies

Unghundeårsvinder, DKCH, AK, Joana von Monsalvat HD-B, Spondylose- 1, Heart - 1, AD-1, has gone into heat the 23rd. of december and we plan to mate her with our own Unghundeårsvinder, Bedste ikke certifikat vindende 20009, Jack Sparrow the Fifth Element, HD-A, Jugendspondylose-0, Knees-0, Heart-OK ( no official test yet).

With this litter we expect red and white puppies. We will hopefully keep 1 female puppy for our self

Rosa started her heat the 16th of december and we plan to mate her the 26. december with Aladin on Time. The repeat mating from her A-litter.

Today we were told that Jack was the best non certificate winner at Top 20 list 2009 of boxer show dogs

What a x-mas present

We got the result of Jacks HD from the Kennel club and it was HD-A at both hips
His spondylose result is unofficial but he has no signs of spondylose at the age of 17 months - so we think that when he is 24 months he will have the same result

26th. november

Today I went to the vet with Jack who now is 17 months - to have him HD, Jugend Spondylose and knee photographed.

The pictures looked very fine: No signs of HD or spondylose and the knees were also very fine.

Now we are looking forward to how the Kennelclub jugdes the HD-pictures - hopefully before christmas

Show Rostock Germany

We went to a CACIB show in Rostock Germany the 4.th of october with Jack.

The jugde was Hr. Ralf Brinkmann, D

Jack was in Jugendklasse and was SG1 With Anw. Dt. Jugend Ch. VDH so we were very proud.

Here is what the jugde wrote:

Gut mittelgross, hirschrot mit mittelweiss, sehr guter oberkopf und Fang, dunkle augen und maske, mittelbreiter leicht runder zahnstand, sehr guter Hals und Wiederrist, flasche tiefe Brust, prima Schulter, sehr gute winklungen, Regelmässige Bewegung mit sehr guter Rückenlage.

Jack was very admirred by the audience and had the best behaviour

September

After a week without a cat we decided that it was time to have a new one. We had always dreamt of a big male cat a norwegian forrestcat, and we found a very beautyfull one white with red markings. When we went to see him we fell in love but Liv our daughter thought that his sister with one blind eye was sweet to and ofcourse she decided that we should have her too

So now we have 2 cats: Simba and Julie

Rieckholms Kassio - best young male

At the CACIB show in Talinn the 31. of August Rieckholms Kassio was BOS junior and 2. best male well done when you are only 12 months

Rosa not pregnant

Unfortunately Rosa wasn´t with puppies this time She cheeted us and looked bigger, had more appetite and was more mumsick than she usually is, but 2 weeks before she should have given birth she was suddenly more like herself and not fat anymore.

We thougt that she maybe only had 1 puppy but no there was no puppies this time - so we will mate her next time - in january 2010.

Fantastic weekend for the Rieckholm - team

Sunday the 16.th of August there were a CACIB show in Hillerød DK. The jugde was from Norway W. Eickeseth.

We were there with Jack and Jonny was there with Rieckholms Isack.

Jack had Very Good number 1 in junior class

Isack was shown in a very strong open class and had Excelent. Isack really wanted to show himself this day and ran like a dream so he was number 1 in his class Now it was very exciting because Isack only needed 1 certifikat ( cac) to be Danish Champion. After a long run Isack was best male number 2 and had the certifikat and the reserve CACIB and so he was DANISH CHAMPION Congratulation to Jonny and Mette - well done we are just soooo Proud

Jack Sparrow Number 1

The weekend the 15. and 16. of August there were 2 shows in Denmark.

The first show was The Annual Year Winner show - where there are many titles at stake.

We had Jack and Joana with us, and Rieckholms Isack were there as well Gaio had several grandchildren and 1 of them Præstebros Frodo was puppy male yearwinner Congratulations to the owner and breeder, another grandson was Balboabox Ashlan ( Kato) who was Excelent 3 in junior male Congratulations to the owner and the breeder!

We started out with Joana in Championclass and she had Excelent and became nr. 3 in her class When the jugde asked how old she was (6) he said wauw and she looked very good for her age We just love her to bits and are proud of our little girl

Jack was shown in junior class with many good boxers and he had Excelent and after a very exciting finale Jack was number 1 and had the title Junior Årsvinder 2009 We are so happy and proud and so glad that we could have this wonderfull boy - thanks Inge and The Fifth Element boxers

Isack had Excelent in a very strong open class but unfortunately wasn't placed - but he was shown good as usual

The very beautyfull Aragorn the Fifth Element son ( Jacks grandfather) Kass van Boranka was Årsvinder 2009 (Yearwinner) Best male and BOB - congratualtions to the owner and the breeder

Thank you group Islev for a very good show - we will sure be there next time you have a show

week 31

Rosa is now 4 weeks pregnant and still doing very well There are some kind of food that she normaly loves that now disgust her - so we are quite sure she is pregnant
She still plays a lot with Jack and loves going for a long walk or run

Jack 13 months

Week 29

Rosa is now hopefully  2 weeks pregnant She has been even more loving than she uses to and has not been as food fanatic. She has more than 1 time the following week walked away from the food and that is not at all like her

Show

We entered the Boxerklub show in Sydkyst/Ishøj 31/5-09.

The jugdes was Ingrid Anderson and Maritha Östlund-Holmsten from Sweden

Joana was Excelent 2 in Champion class.

Jack was Excelent 1 in Juniorclass with 11 junior dogs 

The Joana and Gaio sons: Rieckholms Herkules was: Very Good and Rieckholms Isack was Excelent 4 in a very strong open class with 18 dogs. Well done boys
We should have had a breeding and kennel class but unfortunately one of our puppies did not come so we could not do it

It was as ever a very good show with happy people, good food and good weather

We entered Jack at the Boxer show in Aalborg - the jugde was: Pedro Bispo - a very good jugde that gave every dog a thourough description and told why he placed the dogs like he did

Jack was Excelent 4 from young dog class ( a very strong class with 16 dogs!)so we were very happy

The day after we were at the CACIB show in Aalborg and he was Excelent 3. The jugde was from Sweden Göran Bodegård and also here the description of Jack was like he is!

Before the shows we had to deliver 2 of the little boston puppies on the way: Aila in Vejle and Addison in Aalborg. We then had Aslan back and we delivered him in his home monday. So our home is a bit empty and the children miss the puppies

Puppies 8 weeks

Now the pupies are 8 weeks and ready for their new homes.

It has been a pleasure to have the little ones - they are so charming and sweet and also little monkeys I think we have found good homes for them all - and I wish the new owners good luck with them

The puppies 3 weeks

Now the puppies are 3 weeks and have opened both eyes and ears They can walk around now, but they still mostly sleep and eat
Rosa still has a lot of milk and are caring very well for her babies but she also wants to be the family dog now and doesn´t stay with the puppies all the time!

I could only download 3 pix of the puppies today but hopefully I can make the rest tomorrow!

The puppies are doing very, very well - Well they just sllep and eat - but that is the best sign when they are so young

Bostonterrier puppies born

Now the long expected puppies are born.

Rosa had an easy birth and had 5 puppies in 3 hours!

Unfortunately 1 was stillborn - but we have 3 males and 1 female fine and healthy and very much alive

Rosa is the best mother and has a lot of milk

More pix will come in a few days but now mother and babies need rest

CACIB show Fredericia

The 14th. of february there was a CACIb show in DK.

We entered Rosa, Joana and our new puppy Jack.

The boxerjugde was Bo Lasthein Andersen from Denmark.

At first Jack was in the ring and he was SL3 in a very strong class!

Joana was in the Champion Class and was Excelent 1 and the 5th. best bitch.

The best bitch was Guinevere The Fifth Element from the same kennel as Jack ( and family) and she was Danish Champion this day Congratulations to her breeder/owner - she is a beauty

Rosa was shown for a swedish jugde in open class and was Very Good 1

Our new male has arrived!

We have finally had our new male from Holland

Jack Sparrow The Fifth Element

He is born the 26.th of june 2008.
He is a beautyfull young male with very dark eyes and the correct boxerlook! He is well angulated, has a neck to kill for, nice feet, rich dark red color and symetric white markings. We have high hopes for this little lad He has an easy and outgoing temperament and is very loving

His father is: Zippo del Trinitad Herz-0, HD-A, ZW:74 -German index for HD -  in germany the HD-Index should be under 100 ( CH Nick del NettunoHD-0, IPO1-Xarline del Trinitad)
His mother is: Heidie van Boranka Herz-0, HD-B ( CH Aragorn The Fifth Element HD-B- Ferieke van Boranka HD-A)

Now we know for sure that Rosa is pregnant

We are very excited about this litter and are looking forward towards it

Rieckholms Kassio 1st. show

Rieckholms Kassio was at his first show in Estonia - and it went very well

He entered the babyclass and the jugde was from France: Mrs. Josiane Ratton.

He had a very good description and was BOS baby Congratulations to his owner Katrin - well done!!!!

Rieckholms Kalle new home!

Kallle has now gone to his new home and all is well He is living in a family that has had boxers in 35 years and also has a boxerbitch at 7 years which will be Kalles new friend! We have heard from him and he has settled down nicely
