Dear Friends, Yes, it`s May!Spring is here. The sun shines. The birds sing their songs and the flowers bloosom. There is much that has changed in our surroundings in just a matter of few days and weeks after the cold winter. The new season points to a new beginning and to the beauty of nature and the great wisdom of our Creator. Tomorrow we celebrate what we call Ascension Day which the Danes in their own language call "Kristi Himmelfartsdag". It is a holiday and once again, I rejoice that I can come to my website and do something - to add or to edit. Tomorrow starts the gathering of churches of different denominations in the country. It is called Kirkedage i Haderslev. I am glad to join in the event as I have been asked to run an art workshop for the children who come to this church gathering. May has been an important month for my family as we marked it by holding the confirmation of Philip, the 14 year old boy in the family. Confirmation is the public proclamation of the candidate`s faith in the Lord Jesus. We were 82 people gathered to celebrate the day after a common worship service in the church of Tyrstrup. I was really happy about the contributions of friends for the program and the great help we received at the kitchen. The event confirmed the fact that we live in a town like Christiansfeld surrounded by loving friends and neighbours we can consider as angels. I have put on this website some of the photos of the confirmation, claiming that to gather and to celebrate life is art itself, and finds therefore place in this website of galleries. May God bless you and continue to enjoy spring and summer.Love,Elizabeth
