"Slangerup Turistbureau" was founded by Admiral Andreas du Plessis de Richelieu in the year 1906. Today's tourism- & convention bureau covers the 65 square kilometer big nature preserve, "Naturparken mellem Farum & Slangerup", the market-towns Alleröd, Birkeröd, Slangerup, Ölstykke, Stenlöse and Skävinge, the Copenhagen suburbs Farum and Värlöse plus more than 50 lovely villages.
